It is the last day of Armchair Book Expo! It has been fun. In case you missed the earlier post, check out Introductions & Best Practices, What Readers Want  & Let's Collaborate, and Book Diversity & Dining with an Author. Today, we are offering (and asking) for book recommendations and it is GIVEAWAY DAY!

Summer is here and everyone needs that perfect book to relax with. If you are looking for something to read this summer, check out these 10 books. Thanks to staff reviewer Susan for helping put this list together.

    How do you feel about Sherlock Holmes retellings? I've enjoyed both A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro and A Study in Scarlet Women by Sherry Thomas.

      I read a young adult novel about a teenage Sherlock and enjoyed it. I'll look for the two you mentioned.

    I'm a cozy mystery fan as well. I love the Agatha Raisin series by M.C. Beaton.

      I discovered her recently at my digital library and listen to the Deadly Quiche on audio. I have 2 of her books that I've bought recently. One is is the Agatha Raisin series and I got it at the library sale a few months ago and the other is her male character based series which I found on the bargain table at my bookstore.
