In this day of social distancing and stay at home orders from our government, most bookstores and libraries have been closed. The result is that there are no author events and authors are struggling to get the word out about their new books. The outcome is that there are lots of virtual book tours, Zoom meetings, and podcasts. In the last month, I have interacted with more and different authors than I did by going to in-person author events. Here are a few of my favorite author events and podcasts. Please let me know if I've missed any of the good ones so that I can check them out.

Like many of you, I spent March in the house and not able to read due to anxiety over COVID 19. In April, I was still staying in the house but I read a record number of books. Here it is May and my state started slowly opening up earlier this month. I plan to mostly stay at home and read in May. In June, I hope to start visiting my favorite bookstores.
Susan Roberts lives in North Carolina when she isn't traveling. She and her husband enjoy traveling, gardening and spending time with their family and friends. She reads almost anything (and the piles of books in her house prove that) but her favorite genres are Southern fiction, women's fiction, and thrillers. Susan is a top 1% Goodreads Reviewer. You can connect with Susan on Facebook, Goodreads, or Twitter.
