When my niece and nephew were younger they read some of Karen Pokras's books and I've read some of her adult books as well as her middle grades books. We have enjoyed everything we have read from her. I was excited to see a new book from her and had high expectations as her books are always well-written and the characters are fun, but also realistic.

Books Piles as Big as the Piles of Fall Leaves

From the piles of leaves on the ground you would think my trees would be bare, but no, leaves still cling to their limbs. It kind of reminds me of my books piles. Just to look at my piles, it would look like I haven't read anything. However, I think I read a near record-setting number of books this month (it might be a record).
